If You Think Mold and Mildew Hibernate During The Winter, Think Again!Peter Chicarielli If you associate mold and mildew stains with the summer months, youd be correct. The hot and humid weather provides a perfect environment for rapid mold and mildew growth. The winter however, despite cold temperatures in much of the country is not a mold and mildew-free season by any means.
